This license allows you to use a selected backing track to record and release your own vocal performance for use on one YouTube channel of your choice.

It is suitable for cover performances, vocal covers, and YouTube uploads where the final video features newly recorded vocals by the licensee or their performers over the provided instrumental.

The license is non-exclusive, applies per track, and permits unlimited use of the resulting vocal recording on a single, specified YouTube channel (including re-uploads, edits, and Shorts derived from it). Use on any other channel, including additional channels owned or operated by the licensee, requires a separate license.

This license does not cover release of the recording as a standalone audio track, single, or album on any digital or physical platform (including streaming services, downloads, or CDs) — for that, the Album Release license is required. The backing track may not be redistributed on its own, used on platforms other than YouTube, transferred to other channels, or used as a karaoke track without additional permission.
